The Reality
Do you ever stop to wonder what it would be like if you didn’t have the Bible in your language? That’s something a lot of us take for granted, especially if you consider the over 200 million people who do not have God’s Word in their language.

That’s shocking. But what can you do about it?

You can pray

Bible translation needs prayer warriors--people committed to praying for the people of the world without the Bible. Each remaining group of people without the Bible needs YOUR prayers. Each worker involved in Bible translation craves faithful prayers to support their ministry.

What a privilege we have to go before the throne of our Father and bring one another before Him in prayer. What a privilege to go to battle against all that comes against us and call upon the Almighty Father!

Prayer is powerful.
Prayer is effective.
And God assures us of answered prayer.

Ever think that your prayers don’t make a difference? We either think God is too impersonal or God is not able to answer our prayers. The truth is that God is personal and can do “immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20) NIV

The mighty God of the universe, who created all the different groups of people throughout the earth, cares about our individual prayers.

We have an opportunity to be involved with God and His plan for the whole world. Now is the time to pray for people all over the world.

Planet Wisdom:
Forty-thousand students prayed for the Finongan, the Ipalapa Amuzgo and the Bende people during the 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 conference seasons. In spring 2001, we learned that the Finongan AND the Ipalapa Amuzgo had been assigned translation teams. God answers prayer!

During the 2001-2002 conference season, 40,000 students prayed for the Bende and the Ayi Pasi people. We are still waiting for God to send a translation team to these groups. Join us in praying for these people...

Did you know that the English language has about 70 translations of the Bible, but 3,000 language groups still do not have even a verse of the Bible in their language?

WYnet is committed to praying for Bibleless peoples.
Are you ready for the challenge?

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:10-12 (NIV)

“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
Matthew 21:22 (NIV)

“So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, `We are unworthy servants: we have only done our duty.'" Ephesians 6:10-12 ( NIV)
"Keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."
1 Thess. 5: 17-18 (NLT)
