God pursues us. That’s what the Bible is all about. It is a love story between God and His people. Time and time again God pursues His people, and He longs for our devotion. Sadly, we are often pursuing everything but God. That’s why it’s important to set aside time for God and to pursue Him through prayer, praise and study. Most importantly this cultivates our relationship with Him.

A good question to ask yourself is: “What do I pursue? Relationships with the opposite sex? Accomplishments? Appearance? Clothes? Cars? Recognition?” There are so many things that compete for our hearts, budgets and time. Nonetheless, the decision of what to pursue is left open to all of us.
